Next fun thing to do?

With the last few weeks of fun wrapped up it's time to look for some more cool stuff to get up to.

I'm taking off in June to Japan, London and either Berlin, Greece or Croatia for a few weeks so I need to be a bit thrifty up until then but there's still lots of stuff that I could find to get excited about.

The current list of things I'm thinking about is:
  1. Hot Air Ballooning
  2. Finding a new rock climbing partner (I've been looking a damn long time now)
  3. More diving (That's a given)
I'd ideally like to have about 5 things to look at doing, I know a friend of mine El is interested in going sky diving so I might get in on that, who knows?

SCUBA Diving!

This weekend saw us completing our Open Water diving course (Angies bday pressie).
Last weekend was a bit dry (so to speak) in that Saturday was spent doing theory and Sunday was spent in a local pool doing fundamentals.

This weekend however had a bit more going on, 4 dives over the two days getting to a maximum depth of 17 metres. The downside being that we had to get up at 5.15am which was a seriously painful experience.

The group we went with was great fun, as was our instructor Matt (from Prodive Coogee) so if you've never dived and live in the area I highly recommend taking the course with them.

So where diving will go from here is anyones guess - I'm seeing how interested people are in the idea of getting a regular group together of say 10-15 people who all dive. The idea will be that we go for a monthy dive, most people won't end up coming most of the time so out of everyone we'll end up with a group of 4-6 people which would be perfect. Anyone who's interested, let me know!

Now, I can hear Pasta Pantry beconing me so adios for now =)

Skywalk

Angie and I checked out Skywalk last weekend, for those not in the know you walk around the outside of Cenrepoint Tower (AMP tower these days but I prefer the old name). Fantastic views and seriously sexy jumpsuits =)

Their website is http://www.skywalk.com.au - A little tip though, if you forget a camera and go to buy a disposable at the store - don't. They don't tell you until you're all kitted up that you can't take one out there... tricky little buggers!

Jetboating

More pics from New Zealand - This time Jetboating. Not a patch on falling out the side of a plane at 12,000 feet but a bit of fun nonetheless.

I'm the one in the middle at the back.

New Skydiving Photos!

I've finally got around to uploading all my skydiving pics onto Flickr, this one is probably my fav but there are some pretty cool shots.

For anyone who hasn't jumped out of a perfectly good plane before, it's a rush unlike anything else, something to add to the must-do-some-day list.

I went in New Zealand in 2003, a great choice if you're looking for somewhere to do it - as you can see from the pic, the view is awesome!

You can see the other skydiving pics (along with all my others) at

Mobile Crunch and Bluepulse sitting in a tree...

It's nice to hear your work is appreciated, particularly from respected comentators such as Mobile Crunch. They've just released an article about our beloved bluepulse and have a lot of great things to say about what we do.

It's worth having a read of the article if for no other reason than to see how much we kick ass =)
