World of What?
Brief post here while I wait around to leave the office with a mate.
World of Warcraft, for those of you who are too uncool to play MMO's, is far and away the most popular of the suckers out there.
After swearing I'd give them plenty of clearance due to a good 4 years of Everquest 1 (still the best MMO by a long way IMNSHO), only months later I've found myself seduced by the game which has brought massivly multiplayer online gaming to the mainstream... damn it.
So a couple of months into WoW I've managed to keep real/virtual life very well balanced, often going for a couple of weeks at a time without logging into see good old WoW Shod.
Supprisingly Angie isn't patting me on the back regularly in admiration of my restraint - this is of course due to her not witnessing me in my EQ days. Anyway, the point is, with WoW's proliferation what it is there are people everywhere I turn (IRL) climbing the levels, whilst I wallow in my level 25 newbness...
That's pretty much all I have to say on the topic right now, yes I know I never reached a point but that's the blog owners perogative (as is poor grammer and spelling) so deal with it.
As a side note, the new Daedalus Project results are out, seems that something like 30+% of players are purchasing gold/plat online... Not too amazing, except for the fact that the average spend on gold is US$130!!! How you like them apples ebay filth vrn0 hahaha
